Featured Utility Scale Solar Projects

Featured Utility Scale Solar Projects

Concho County, TX | 250 MW AC (Phase I) + 110 MW AC (Phase II)

EVS is currently performing electrical and civil engineering services for phase II of this project.

Nolan County, TX | 200 MW AC

EVS provided electrical, civil and survey services for this project. The site topography and general layout made for an especially challenging civil and electrical design.

Brazoria County, TX | 120 MW AC

EVS provided electrical, civil and structural engineering for this project.. EVS’ design included the use of First Solar Series 4 modules.

Reeves County, TX  | 100 MW AC

EVS provided electrical, civil and survey services for this 100 MW project. There were some difficult electrical grounding study challenges that EVS overcame for this project.

Madera County, CA | 50 MW AC

EVS provided electrical, civil and survey for this solar project in CAISO service territory.

Brooks County, GA  | 150 MW AC  +  Dougherty County, GA |  120 MW AC

EVS provided civil and survey design for both Georgia solar projects.

Camilla County, GA | 160 MW AC

EVS provided civil engineering services for this solar project.

Clark Country, NV | 100 MW AC

EVS provided civil engineering services for this 100 MW ground mount project in Clark County, NV. The project encountered significant permitting hurdles including coordination with Nevada DOT (hydrology and geometric design dept), Clark County Public Works (drainage, fire, and building dept), City of North Las Vegas, and Clark County Regional Flood Control District.

Maricopa County, AZ | 150 MW AC

EVS provided civil engineering services for this 150 MW single axis tracker project. The stormwater management plan includes over 2 miles of constructed ditches and 10 permanent stormwater basins.  Unique to sites located in the desert, the site also includes a dust control plan and 150 dry wells to promote groundwater recharge.

Lauderdale County, MS | 52.5 MW AC

EVS provided final civil design for this 52.5 MW AC single axis tracker project. This project was constructed on extremely hilly topography and required more than one million cubic yards of earthwork in order to accommodate the tracker slope and undulation tolerances. In order to prevent offsite sedimentation from steep slopes, the design included 15 temporary sedimentation basins.

Manitowoc County, WI | 150 MW AC

EVS provided final civil design for this 150 MW AC single axis tracker project. The site is at the lower end of approximately 18 square miles of watershed which required extensive water flow analysis to determine areas where site modifications were necessary.
