Project Scoping & Preliminary Impact Assessment for TH 101
Mn/DOT selected EVS to provide project scoping/impact assessment for four interchanges on TH 101 from the Crow River to the Mississippi River. This required initiating and performing the scoping process of the proposed construction projects including preparation of a public and regulatory agency involvement process, collecting all the necessary information to evaluate proposed concepts, recommending changes, and preparing as many as nine alternatives for each interchange.The alternative evaluations encompassed assessing social, environmental and economic impacts, costs analysis and gathering agency and public input as needed to arrive at a preferred conceptual layout for each location.
