Cottage Grove Park and Ride
Mn/DOT selected EVS to provide final design for the Cottage Grove Park & Ride facility located along the south frontage road of TH 61 in Cottage Grove. EVS expanded the park & ride from 140 stalls to 500 stalls.As part of the storm water management plan, an innovative network of more than a dozen infiltration basins/rain gardens were incorporated into the design for the approximately seven acre site.
Due to funding dedication requirements, the project had an extremely tight timeline necessitating stringent project controls. In the end, all parties concurred with the design and the project was finished on schedule with a 25% budget surplus. This project was awarded the 2005 ACEC of MN Honor Award.
