Scope & Impact Analysis for Interchange 169 & 33
Mn/DOT identified a need to construct an interchange on TH 169 at CR 33 (SP 7106-66) in Elk River. Part of the upgrade also included reconstruction of two miles of TH 169, one mile of CR 33, and one mile of new frontage roads.Mn/DOT selected EVS to perform scoping and impact analysis. EVS developed three viable alternatives for an interchange. EVS prepared noise, wetland, traffic, and environmental assessments. Scope also included developing public and regulatory agency involvement process, collecting necessary information and establishing a list of associated impacts for each alternative. A project webpage and newsletters were developed as part of the public involvement process.
