Premier Pet Boarding
EVS performed civil/site design and land surveying services for the Premier Pet Boarding Facility located adjacent to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport for BWBR Architects and Kraus-Anderson Construction Company. The existing 3.3 acre site was redeveloped and the existing building on-site was converted to handle the day-to-day operations. Dog kennels, and animal exercise and training areas were constructed as additions to the building, along with a parking lot used for long-term parking while people boarded their pets while traveling. The site is located on Minneapolis Airports Commission (MAC) land, so MAC handled the site plan review and approvals, but because the site utilities had to connect to the adjacent City of Minneapolis system, additional coordination was required.
