Minneapolis Convention Center Expansion
EVS provided civil/site design services for expansion of the Minneapolis Convention Center. EVS provided initial project scoping, schematic design and final design for utility work. The expansion area interrupted the major utility connection to the in place facility due to 50 foot deep excavation for a new below grade exhibit hall and underground loading dock.- Developed a plan to establish temporary utilities during expansion.
- Designed new sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main services.
- Designed site grading, including ramp for a large underground truck dock.
Coordinated improvements for the relocation of 3rd Avenue with City of Minneapolis.
